ISAAC BHOLU
UK-based performance artist blending theatre, humour and cultural narratives across stage and screen.
Ojo Boluwatife Babatunde, known professionally as Isaac Bholu, is a Nigerian-born performance artist based in the United Kingdom, working across theatre, screen, and digital storytelling. His practice centres on character-led performances that combine humour, cultural reflection, and socially conscious narratives.
He has performed with organisations including Bristol Old Vic, Stand & Be Counted Theatre, and The Sumi Group, with stage appearances at Woolwich Works and performances presented in Sheffield and Bristol. His screen work includes projects developed with emerging UK filmmakers, with Bobbing for Glory selected for the Cardiff Mini Film Festival.
Alongside his stage and screen work, Isaac has built a strong digital performance practice, creating over 200 original character-driven pieces shared with a growing global audience. His work explores themes of identity, migration, and everyday life, using humour as a tool for connection and storytelling.
His practice sits at the intersection of theatre and digital performance, reflecting a contemporary approach to how stories are created, shared, and experienced.
